1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between you (“you”) and the vendor of Word Search Empire (“we”, “us”). By buying or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app and request a refund within 14 days, as explained in our Refund Policy.

2. What you receive

A downloadable, self-contained application file that runs in your browser on your own device, plus any bonus files included with your purchase. You also receive the licence rights set out below.

3. The licence granted to you

When you buy, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for the purchaser to:

• install and use the app on your own computers and devices;
• generate as many puzzles, pages, answer keys and books as you like with it;
• use, print, publish and sell what you create with it — including print-on-demand books, digital printables, classroom materials and client work;
• keep using the version you downloaded.

Commercial use of your own output is allowed.

4. What you may not do

• resell, redistribute, share, rent, lend or give away the app file itself, or any modified version of it;
• include the app file in a bundle, membership, PLR pack or free download;
• repackage or rebrand the app as your own product, or claim that you created it;
• remove or alter any copyright or licence notice in the file;
• use the app to build or power a competing word-search maker.

You may not use the app, or the output you create with it, for anything unlawful or in a way that infringes someone else’s rights.

5. Word banks, titles and third-party names

The app includes built-in word lists on many topics, and it lets you type your own. Some lists are machine-generated, so please review each puzzle and check a proof before you publish it. You are responsible for making sure that any puzzle you publish — including its title and the words in it — is accurate and appropriate for your audience, and does not infringe anyone’s rights or breach the rules of the platform you sell on.

6. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your requirements. Always check your exported files and order a proof before selling or distributing anything you have made.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost sales, any action taken by a publishing platform against your account, or lost or corrupted data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Not affiliated with any platform

Word Search Empire is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), Etsy, or any browser or software vendor. Those names are used only to describe where you can use your exported files.

9. Your responsibilities on third-party platforms

You are responsible for complying with the terms of any platform you publish on (for example KDP or Etsy). That includes their rules on content, titles and metadata, low-content and duplicate books, and any disclosure requirements.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future versions of the product. The terms in force when you purchased continue to apply to that version. If we publish a change, we will update the date at the top of this page.

11. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws that apply at the vendor’s place of business. Nothing in them removes any mandatory consumer protection you are entitled to under the law of your own country.
